Requirement Overview
To provide excellent customer service to existing and new clients in order to meet the monthly revenue target. To enable staff to educate and promote Bidvest’s full product offering to clients to maximize the revenue that can be generated. Working hours are 8am – 5pm but you must be available 24 hours as it is a shift branch. Manage the profit margins through innovative cross selling options and good margin management. Proactively grow the client base by asking for client referrals Manage and control expenses to work within budgets in consultation with the branch staff. Take responsibility for managing the costs in the branch, controlling all stock, cash limits, daily differences, controlling and authorising expenses. Maintain good cash management ensuring minimal differences and write offs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensuring excellent service levels and quality to customers to ensure the retention of clients and a long term working relationship. Interpreting the clients’ business requirements and going the extra mile to provide relevant timeous solutions. Responding speedily and correctly to stakeholder and customer queries. Assisting staff to facilitating customer transactions, dealing with necessary escalations to expedite the process. Assist the client with innovative ways to gain maximum benefit from cross selling the right products at the relevant time. Pro-actively assist staff to manage all complaints ensuring they are resolved within 24 hours and updating the complaints register. Enable staff to assist the client on the necessary systems / processes to deal with the Bank in the most efficient way. Maintain excellent cash management ensuring minimal differences and interest write offs for the Branch. Capture all compliments and complaints on CRX System and close them off on the bank’s complaints register. Establish and maintain relationships with departments in Head. Office and Sales teams in order to process transactions .efficiently and ensure all deliveries are made timeously. Compile and submit necessary reports to support the Branch Manager to check Ops Stats, monitor revenue targets, sales, incidents, any discrepancies and audit reports. Supervise that all work is carried out as per the Operating procedures, ensuring clean audits, managing limits and adherence to policies and procedures. Close supervision of the branch assets ensuring control at all times. Follow the correct procedure to open and close the Branch on a daily basis. Ensuring a professional level of security in the Branch. Ensure that all transactions adhere to relevant company policies and procedures ensuring a clean audit and that risks are managed proactively. Ensuring that the Branch is staffed adequately at all times to provide excellent levels of customer service. Train, develop and mentor the staff in the Branch to ensure a culture of continuous learning and development. Motivate staff through managing the performance levels ensuring excellent customer service through reward and recognition . Manage any disciplinary matters within the Branch ensuring a level of discipline at all times. Keeping abreast of Compliance (FICA) requirements. Knowledge of Banking products and systems.
Skills, Experience and Education
Grade 12 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory Client Service role in a Financial Institution Business Acumen Service Orientation Management skills Professionalism Interpersonal skills Results focused.
